Hi, I am Georgia… and this is ‘A Beach Bum’s Guide to Skiing’ & living the good life on the mountains!
Learning how to ski was never really something on my bucket list of things to accomplish. In fact, winter trips and time on the mountains in general were an alien concept to me, until my partner encouraged me to join him on a ski trip with his friends.
So, I took my first ski lesson at the age of 30. Experiencing the beauty of the Alps and learning how to ski quickly transformed me from a lifelong beach bum to a winter and mountain enthusiast. In the process, I also became quite the decent skier!
In this part of the blog, I write all about my original experiences as a beginner skier and my current musings as an intermediate one! This is were you can find answers to all of your questions about learning to ski as an adult, as well as general ski chat suited for skiers of all levels.
