SKI TRIP

‘The mountains are calling, and I must go’, J. Muir
While it is very comforting to know your way around the slopes and best places for après ski, I can’t help but think that we become better skiers, travellers and certainly well-rounded individuals when we experience as much of our diverse world as possible. Stop visiting the same place every winter and try something new! Where will our skis take us?

2 steps to planning your perfect ski trip:

STEP 1: FIND A SKI RESORT

CANADA

Frozen lakes, tree-lined mountains, snowcapped peaks and precious wildlife. Experience Banff’s jaw-dropping landscapes while skiing in Sunshine Village and Lake Louise ski resorts!

STEP 2: GET YOUR SKI GEAR READY

There is so much excitement to come once you book a ski trip, and whether it is your first or 20th skiing holiday, ski gear is definitely a contributing factor to that. So, for all of you excited beginners researching their first kit, and for everyone else who wants to update some (or all!) of their ski gear, here they are.
The ultimate ski and après ski packing lists and a curation of my best tips for getting your gear to work for you.

…AND YOU ARE READY FOR YOUR SKI TRIP! OR NOT?

You can ski, right?

Have you always wanted to enjoy the snow capped mountains, watching in awe and a bit of jealousy skiers elegantly coming down crisp white slopes? Maybe you were not fortunate enough to learn skiing as a child? Stop blaming your parents and keep reading. I took my first ski lesson at the age of 30.
Here’s what happened.
